Every Halloween pop-up bar in Denver for October 2026, by neighborhood, with dates, hours, reservations, cover charges, and whether it is open on Halloween night. The bar crawls are here too. So is the one thing on this page that is not a bar at all. We produce it. A pop-up turns one bar into Halloween for a month. Paranormal Palace turns a whole hotel into Halloween for one night.
Updated October 11, 2026, from the venues’ own pages and booking links. Pop-ups change their hours in the final week; we re-check before Halloween weekend.

Two year-round horror bars round it out: The Crypt at 1618 E 17th Ave (a 1960s Halloween TV party October 21, no cover) and Hell or High Water Tiki, the haunted pirate ship behind The Glory Hole at 3542 Walnut St, 21+, no exceptions.
The month-long takeovers
Black Lagoon at Lady Jane (LoHi). The national horror cocktail pop-up’s only Colorado stop, October 1 to 31, with surprise drag performances on weekends. Reservations on Tock are capped at 90 minutes for the month. No cover. This is the one with the line on the sidewalk; book it.
The Haunting at Steuben’s (Uptown). From the team that does Miracle and Sippin’ Santa, so expect the same production value: a dozen cocktails in cauldron, clown, and doll-head mugs, plus a zero-proof option. Nightly October 1 to 31, 21+ with ID, masks off at the door. Reserve on OpenTable; any minimum shows at booking.
Poka Luna at Poka Lola Social Club (Dairy Block). October 1 to 31 with a schedule: Witching Hour drink specials daily 4 to 6 PM, Tarot Tuesdays 5 to 7, Voodoo Vinyl Saturdays with a DJ from 8 PM. No cover listed, no reservations required.
Nightmare in Paradise at Adrift (South Broadway). The tiki bar at 218 S Broadway goes full horror through October 31: haunted happy hours (all night Tuesday, Thursday 5 to 7, Friday 4 to 6), Red Rum Wednesdays with classic Halloween films, and punch bowls for two, four, or eight. It sits directly on the Broadway Halloween Parade route, which makes it the obvious stop after the parade on October 17 and a natural anchor for the Broadway bar crawl on the 24th.
The rooftops and the short runs
The Last Dance at Sorry Gorgeous (RiNo). A haunted ballroom on the 12th-floor rooftop of NOVEL RiNo, October 15 to 31, 3 PM to close, with themed cocktails, bites, and DJs. The story is a hostess who died before her first guest arrived. Reservations are strongly suggested on OpenTable; as of this update October 30 and 31 were not yet bookable, so check back.
Halloweekend at 54thirty (downtown). Le Meridien’s 20th-floor rooftop runs Costumes and Cocktails from October 30 through November 2 with themed drinks, tarot readers, and a caricature artist. No cover, weather permitting. Not a full takeover, but the view does the work.
Bewitched and Bubbly at Call Me Pearl (LoDo). A themed menu rather than a decor takeover, October 26 to 31, booked on OpenTable.
The Nightmare Bar (Club Vinyl). A ticketed, 90-minute horror-movie bar experience from Fever and Smirnoff, sessions at 7 and 9 PM on select October nights, $17.50 general admission including one welcome drink, 21+ with physical ID. It was first announced for The Church next door, so confirm the venue and your date on Fever before you go.

| Fri Oct 30, Sat Oct 31 | Denver Zombie Crawl Halloween Bar Crawl (ticketed, not the original free street crawl) | ViewHouse Ballpark, 2015 Market St | 7 PM to 2 AM | On Eventbrite |
All of these are 21+. The pattern is the same: a wristband, two or three included drinks or shots, no covers at the partner bars, and an afterparty that ends between midnight and 2 AM. If you want a crawl and a real Halloween night, do a crawl on the 24th.
The one that is not a bar: Paranormal Palace
Everything above is a bar wearing a costume. This is the other thing.
On Saturday, October 31, Paranormal Palace takes over the entire DoubleTree by Hilton Denver Tech Center. Not a room block. The whole hotel. The ballroom becomes an 8,000 square foot haunted forest, the multi-level atrium becomes the dance floor with balconies stacked above it, three DJs run two rooms, 20-plus performers roam the hallways, and four private VIP areas have their own bars with drinks included. There is a $2,500 costume contest judged at midnight. Costumes are mandatory for everyone. It is strictly 21+, and this is the 17th year.
Then the part no pop-up can copy: your room is upstairs. Rooms start at $145, the 41 balcony rooms over the dance floor sold out months ago, and the night ends in an elevator instead of a surge-priced ride. The clocks fall back at 2 AM, so it is a 25-hour Halloween, the first Saturday Halloween since 2020 and the last until 2037.
General admission is $66 and VIP is $174.40, fees included. The ticket breakdown is here and VIP is here. Do the pop-ups in the three weeks before. Then on the 31st, do the thing that only happens once.
