The Best Halloween Parties in Denver 2026, Ranked

Halloween 2026 falls on a Saturday for the first time since 2020, so every big party in the metro runs head to head on one night. These are the Denver-metro parties worth your ticket on October 31, ranked, with times, prices and ages for each. We produce Paranormal Palace, so it’s our #1. Everything else is ranked on the same five tests, using details from each organizer’s own site.

Updated September 25, 2026. We re-check this list weekly through Halloween. Prices are as each organizer lists them, and some add fees at checkout.

How we ranked them

  1. The venue. Does the room add to the night, or just hold it?
  2. The production. Performers and staging, not just a DJ.
  3. The costumes. Required, or optional?
  4. The track record. How many years the party has been running.
  5. The ride home. What closing time costs you on a Saturday Halloween.

Each ranked party gets a score from 1 to 5 on each test, based on what its organizer publishes. For track record, 10 or more years is a 5, 5 to 9 years is a 4, 3 or 4 years is a 3, and a first or second year is a 2. Ties go to the higher venue score.

The ranking covers the Denver metro: Denver plus the suburbs in Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Douglas and Jefferson counties. Parties farther out are listed after it.

1. Paranormal Palace

Denver Halloween party celebration night Best in Denver

Denver Halloween party celebration night Best in Denver

Best for: the whole night, start to finish, with a bed upstairs

  • When: Saturday, Oct 31, 8 PM–1 AM
  • Where: DoubleTree by Hilton Denver Tech Center, 7801 E. Orchard Rd, Greenwood Village
  • Price: GA $66, VIP $150 with unlimited bar, fees included
  • Ages: 21+, costumes mandatory
  • Track record: 17th year

Our 17th year, and a takeover of the whole hotel. The Haunted Forest ballroom carries 8,000 square feet of decor, staging and bars, and the multi-level atrium is ringed by 41 balcony rooms that look down on the dance floor. Three DJs (Neffertiti, Golden Goggles and Rush), more than 20 performers, and a costume contest with $2,500 in cash and prizes, judged at midnight. The door is strictly 21+ with ID, and our zero-tolerance conduct policy is on our FAQ page.

It’s also the only party on this list you don’t have to leave. The balcony rooms sold out in August, but standard rooms upstairs start at $145 a night. When the ballroom closes at 1, guests with rooms just change floors, and with clocks falling back at 2 AM, that room party gets a 25th hour.

The ride home on a Saturday Halloween

Every event in the metro lets out on the same night, so rideshare surge pricing between midnight and 3 AM is close to certain. Daylight saving time ends at 2 AM as October 31 becomes November 1, so the clock runs from 1:59 back to 1:00 and the night gets a 25th hour.

Plan the ride before you go: a sober driver, a scheduled pickup, light rail where it works (the E and R lines serve the Tech Center, and RiNo is on the A Line at 38th & Blake), or a room upstairs.

Spend Halloween night at the Palace

Quick answers

We produce Paranormal Palace, so weigh our pick with that in mind: judged on venue, production, costume culture, track record and the ride home, we rank Paranormal Palace first. It’s a 21+ hotel takeover at the DoubleTree DTC in Greenwood Village, 8 PM to 1 AM on Saturday, October 31, with a $2,500 costume contest and rooms upstairs. Our ranking continues with Meow Wolf’s Cosmic Howl, Tracks Halloweekend, NOCTURNAL at Bierstadt Lagerhaus, the Brown Palace masquerade and the Official Halloween Bar Crawl.

Paranormal Palace, Meow Wolf’s Cosmic Howl, NOCTURNAL and the Official Halloween Bar Crawl are all 21+. Tracks Halloweekend is 18+. The Brown Palace masquerade hasn’t posted an age limit.

On our list, the downtown bar crawl is $15, NOCTURNAL starts at $30, Meow Wolf’s Cosmic Howl is about $62, Paranormal Palace is $66 GA or $150 VIP with fees included, and the Brown Palace masquerade is $90 with a welcome drink. Some organizers add fees at checkout, and most prices rise as tiers sell out.

Paranormal Palace, Meow Wolf and NOCTURNAL end at 1 AM, Tracks runs to 2 AM, the Brown Palace masquerade ends at 11 PM and the bar crawl’s after-party ends at midnight. Clocks fall back at 2 AM on November 1, so the night itself is 25 hours long.

The big ones can, especially on a Saturday Halloween. Every Paranormal Palace ticket tier and table sold out in 2025, and all 41 balcony rooms sold out in August this year. Tiers close when they sell out, so earlier tickets cost less.

Plan it before you go out. Expect rideshare surge pricing across the metro between midnight and 3 AM. Use a sober driver, a scheduled pickup, or light rail where it works: the E and R lines serve the Tech Center near the DoubleTree. At Paranormal Palace, the simplest option is a room upstairs, from $145 a night.
